Hello there readers! last Wednesday my friends and i have to prepare tablets..we got two choices : either Vitamin C or Paracetamol..my group decided to make Paracetamol...
Why do we choose that? well for me vitamin c is easy but there are some consequences..example..vitamin c is easily degradable and must be protected from light..then, the tablet will change it's colour within time..We have to prepare our own formulation...it tooks us all night to find and calculate the right dose for the tablets...binder avicel 5%, Mg stearate 1% starch 1% *ye kot*, PCM 250mg and lactose top up until 500mg..this is for 1 tablet..we have to make 1.5kg each group..and i was kinda nervous when the day of making the tablets came...
For making the tablets...we will use the machines..there are 3 of them i guess...first we add all the ingredients..except the lubricant (magnesium stearate) just put it into the machine and let the machine works it's magic..hahaha...the lubricant will be added later after the drying process..then after all the process..finally..it was a success!!woohooo~ alhamdulillah syukur kepada Allah :)
